The Hawaiian Islands offer striking contrasts from one island to another. At its southeastern end, the island of Hawaii (Big Island) is the youngest with still active volcanoes and plants that colonize the lava fields progressively older. At its northwestern end, the island of Kauai is the oldest and is nicknamed the Garden Island because of its tropical rainforest in the center of the island and its flora.

With the help of a very illustrated slide show, we invite you to discover the Hawaiian flora at both ends of the Hawaiian archipelago. This conference will be held in French.
